Collaborative Real Estate Announced as CRE Insight Journal Awards Winner for Excellence in Tenant Care

Collaborative Real Estate was recently recognized for their innovative tenant engagement platforms, data-driven programs, incredible partnership-building, and more via the CRE Insight Journal Awards program, which recognizes excellence in the real estate industry.

Hosted by CRE Insight Journal, the leading, on-demand resource of articles, webinars, publications, and videos for real estate professionals, Collaborative won the 2022 award for Excellence in Tenant Care regarding their property, Tech Square

Their devotion to community building through collaboration initiatives focuses on the creative use of common spaces – both indoor and outdoor – that each property has available and utilizes multi-channel communications to connect entities, and more importantly, to connect people. And that’s just one of the many reasons Collaborative was awarded such a prestigious recognition.

This novel service they provide is fundamentally critical for cross-pollination to occur and economic growth to flourish – especially for an area as unique as Tech Square. Located in Midtown Atlanta, Tech Square has the highest density of startups, corporate innovators, academic researchers, and students in the entire southeastern United States. Over 100 startups, five startup accelerators, 25 corporate innovation centers, seven venture funds, 10 research labs, 10 Top 10 engineering programs, one Top 10 MBA program, and over 2,100 Georgia Tech students call Tech Square home.

And with access to such individuals typically restricted, Collaborative aims to capitalize on their ability to get to know tenants better in order to facilitate serendipitous collisions and foster new connections. In essence, they expand beyond the physical brick and mortar and hone in on what matters most – the people inside – by focusing on the following goals:

  • Uncover expressed and latent needs of the community

  • Instill an increased focus on bringing the community together

  • Formulate a data-driven collaboration plan curated to the community’s interests to build culture, increase engagement, and ignite connections

  • Showcase Tech Square as the “epicenter” of community activation and illustrate the economic impact

Ultimately, they set out to create space and opportunity for connections to be made that fuel collaboration.
